Dr David Cigdem

Dr Cigdem began his academic training at the School of Medicine of the University of Lausanne in 1993, followed by an intemship in general surgery at the Sierre regional hospital, and then Dental school in Geneva from 1994 to 1997. He obtained his Swiss federal dentist’s degree at the University of Geneva in 1997, then a postgraduate degree in implantology and parodontology at New York University in 2000. From 2000 to 2002, he devoted himself to research at the Geneva Dental school’s division of cariology and preservative dental medicine, while simultaneously managing the Cigdem dental office at Chalais, in the canton of Valais.
His professional career started in 1997 at the Cigdem dental office in Chalais, followed by a position as operatory assistant in the department of orthognatic corrective surgery and facial traumatology at the regional hospital in Sierre-Loèche. From 2005 to 2008, he worked as a consultant dentist and smile consultation manager at Clinique La Prairie, in Clarens-Montreux. He concentrated mainly on dental and implant complex prosthetic oral rehabilitations and on complete aesthetic rehabilitations in collaboration with the Oral Design laboratory.
He has been in practise in his private office in Geneva since 2014.
Dr Cigdem is a former examiner for the federal examinations at the Dental school of the University of Geneva, a former senior lecturer for dental assistants in Sion, and a former member of the Swiss Odontostomatology Society (SSO) and the SVMD.
